Biography
Professor Yanhui Xu is the Scientific Executive Dean of the Sycamore Research Institute of Life Sciences (SRILS). He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a New Cornerstone Investigator, and a Changjiang Scholar.
His research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of gene expression regulation using structural biology and biochemical approaches. His team has made groundbreaking contributions to understanding the assembly and regulation of the human transcription pre-initiation complex (PIC).
